He killed hope. I don't know how old you are, but the country was in turmoil. MLK Jr. had been assassinated two months before and the country was a powder keg. RFK offered hope for a better future. Sirhan also has significant mental health issues. This also makes him a poor risk for being accepted in the middle east. Last I read, he had converted to Jehovah Witness. (He changes his religion every so often) He was Catholic by birth, but he has been a Baptist, Seventh Day Adventist and a Rosicrucianist. He's a hot mess....
