Could I say something to folks who don't know how to react to MAGA threats and attacks?

GET PISSED, PEOPLE! Let that fire burn in your belly and make it visible in your eyes when confronting any asshole who even begins to threaten or intimidate non-MAGA folks!

When we "let it slide" they win. Yes, we want to be the adult in the room, but "adult" does not mean "weakling" or "patsy" or "snowflake".

DO NOT miss an opportunity to make your opposition to these thugs public.

We can let the Magahats know who we are and where we live so we can deal with them directly.

However, that should be optional as some here don't want to deal with threats, vandalism, harassment, and possibly suffering physical assaults.

I'll be one of those who opt out as my days of being a tough guy are long gone.

So it is understandable that many people do not use their real names. It isn't just MAGA scum. Scammers, con artists, and perverts are always on the prowl. It is often best not to reveal too much personal information on public forums.

You're not the one who has dealt with years of relentless harassment for nothing more than posting an 8X11 sign not to invade Iraq--including false accusations of child abuse, false claims about my indoor-only cats "terrorizing" the neighborhood, and code compliance on a first-name basis with me because they were called out anytime my yard got 1/16" of an inch above the allowed height.

20. You are right. They backstab and criticize and sneak around in the dark of night

They never fight fair and use undue use of process to harass people. I worked for 45 years in three different republican owned and operated shops. They were careful not to go too far with me because I was the only one that could operate several machines that they needed to actually make money. I never had any continuing relationships with any of them after I retired. There has been a war going for a long time. It is socio-economic but it is raging to this day. Sometimes the only course that you have is to withdraw from it and keep yourself sane. They are organized. We need to defend ourselves and be aware of what they are and have been doing for a long time.

For many reasons we are at odds. Now he has the power over me. If I want something done, it won't be. My referencing his admiration of a thug will be seen as a compliment. And I struggle to not throw up in his presence. Bringing up 'what's his name' will be insufferable
