Ooof. As of this morning, 300k more Republican ballots returned than Democrat (FLORIDA)
FL is gonna pivot on NPA (No Party Affiliation) voters
But, more vote-by-mail ballots are outstanding for Dems than Reps Ugh....22 years of GOP control of FL is tooo much. Another 4 years is gonna be devastating. Esp with moRon DeFascist https://countyballotfiles.floridados.gov/VoteByMailEarlyVotingReports/PublicStats

2. Watch Morning Joe this morning
and he was saying that DeSantis could be winning by 20 points, which is record breaking for Florida. I think democrats lost a lot of grounds in Florida and we have to figure out why. These questions can't just be asked around election time. Something has to be done during the off-election time and build it from there.
But anyways, I hope they are wrong and we will do better than expected. |

So not surprised.

27. Not saying what you said isn't contributing factors.
But we still have to figure out why the border towns in TX that turned red in 2020 or Latinos going 15% to 25% to 30+% (if it happens that way in FL as some talking heads said) toward republican.
PS, I am not saying they are that way. But if the election result indeed comes out that way, we do have to figure out where we went wrong. |

And never got close in Texas. Clinton won Florida once.
So I wouldn't say it's been that way since both Bushes, since texas hasn't gone for a Democrat since Jimmy Carter. |

Sorry dont have time to go into detail but GOP voter suppression/obstruction has been going on in FL for many years.

They gained the lead in 2020 or 2021. Registered Dems have dropped every year since 2020. NPA's will decide Florida.

that state almost as much as I do Texas. Medicare fraud, pill mills and scamming seniors of their money are more or less accepted activities in that hellhole state. Look at their support of Rick Scott. There is a reason that scum like Limbaugh, the Orange Ruski etc. entrenched themselves there.

20. How is that known?
It has always been my understanding that the ballots are not reported until after the polls close. So, I am wondering how the tally can be known before the polls close and Then the results released. Am I wrong on this? Is the post just about how many mail-in ballots have been returned and if so, why and how are the results of who sent those in known and reported?

31. Election offices update who has voted (in person or by mail) daily
Registration shows party affiliation if any.
News organizations and political parties have staff that update it daily. This is how the local party knows who to call to help get them to the polls. They don't know how they voted, just who voted. It's also a good reason to mail in your ballot as early as possible, it reduces the work for the GOTV teams |
