What amazes me is all this stuff is in the library of congress!!! It's been known for years.

I was surprised at how familiar it all felt.
And history has forgotten all about them until now.

I knew there was a Nazi-movement pre-WWII. I knew about America First and Lindburgh. I knew about the isolationists and anti-immigration/anit-jew zealots

The rest? I'm 67 years old, well read, and didn't have a fucking clue about the extent that the Nazi influence went in Congress and society. No idea about the sedition trials. Or the terrorist attacks.

It was all so very familiar. Shockingly so. It was a very established movement thruout the country.

I've started a book on the era, "Hitler's Friends". He had many here.

Jewish conspiracies and Protocols of Zion when she’d had to much to drink. Everyone thought she was just nuts.

This woman was her friend since they were children. They were not really close friends. They were still pals until they died but my Grandmother thought she was out of her mind to believe that garbage.

When I asked my grandmother about it she said ”Ina is not very bright in some ways.”

Now I understand where the poison came from. I’m thankful my family never ate it. I have to wonder if I would think the way I do if they had.

It took her about a year of work, not to mention the others who worked on it. I realize we listen to ads but is that where the money comes from? I wonder how the decisionmakers think about this.
