Am I missing a real thing or is this what it seems? Because it seems like a stunt that is designed to perpetuate uncertainty. The outrage followed by the recess, then more outrage and rumors of promises and then another recess. Now we're being told about a soon-to-be-printed document which will preclude the Republicans from cherry-picking and misleading the readers away from conclusions based on facts.

The timing is too much for me to swallow. Talking, walking like a duck, is this the one-in-a-million chance when it's NOT a duck? In the process of revealing so much about Jan 6 could they reveal something about the timing of their investigation? Have they intentionally slowed the release so as to pair up with the DOJ's blistering pace?

Nobody else is talking about this elephant in the room. Maybe I am because Thanksgiving had me in a conversation with VERY involved Democrat. She's active in the county election effort for Democrats. They lost EVERY SINGLE CONTEST. In reply to my queries about this phenomenon, I was told it was too complex for me to understand. But just before I got that bombshell info, she shared that they were looking into investing in a "professional political adviser" of some sort. A guy or gal who would not know the county or even the state or region but would be able to come in and, for a fee, straighten out their failure and set them on the right course. The plain foolishness of it struck me as a similar tune to the lame excuses I've heard for the slow Jan 6 dance for the last 12 months. The only other conclusion is that it's just "too complex for me to understand". Which is, coincidentally, exactly what my ex-employer's company accountant told me about a $1500 withdrawal from my payroll income that never made it into my 401K. They went bankrupt and barely escaped jail shortly thereafter.

Where I live in some of the local races if I don't vote republican I don't get a say because there aren't any Dems running for those offices. Its not as bad now as it was 30 yrs ago tho.
