Wow. So Apartheid Elon did it. He killed a major social media platform
All because of his fragile, man-child ego

1. More because it was too left-leaning for his taste.
He had nothing to lose but a couple hunderd billion dollars which he probably figures he can make back.

2. I don't know why people don't think there is a plan. Pretty sure its a bad one
but he isn't just doing this because of his ego. He figures he can affect the makeup of the US government by changing the social media rules and thereby unleash his companies and wealth from government regulation, taxation, etc. He also wants to affect foreign policy.

3. Because he's a larger malignant narcissist than even TFG
This is most certainly because of his ego

5. Then His Plan Is Fantasy
He'll be dead of old age before he got all those things.
That doesn't seem like the best plan. |

9. Don't think he had a plan, that's why he tried to get out of the deal.
That said, he probably realized he's sitting on a pile of valuable data on Twitter's users, including a lot of powerful people.
The Hunter Biden stuff might be his version of a warning shot. |

18. Yes. I don't know about the finances of it, but it seems quite active
What Musk is accomplishing is a getting lot of free press, a lot of attention

8. Twitter is a tiny little splinter compared to the United States government for crying out loud
Social media is really not our government Elon. Maybe he doesn’t understand since he comes from a different system

11. +1
He's presenting as a socially misfit 14yr old gamer, getting radicalized online by other socially misfit 14 yr olds
Is there no one in his life who cares enough about him to phone in a wellness check? ![]() |

He is bleeding money. Social Media platforms run on ads, and Twitter has very little now.
