Reminder: Zelensky's last visit to the United States

Last edited Wed Dec 21, 2022, 11:25 AM - Edit history (1)

Volodymyr knew what was up.

Here's Trump pressuring Zelensky to make a deal with Putin.

What a fresh-faced Ukrainian president he was at the time, new to the role and looking so young, but he knew the danger that Russia posed and he was aware that Trump was in Putin's back pocket. Years later, Zelensky has shown that he's a truly brave LEADER, battle-hardened, fighting to maintain his country's independence. He's witnessed terrible destruction and loss of life. And Trump remains a snake, trying to benefit himself.

So glad Joe Biden will be hosting Zelensky today.

Trump was true to form, the most despicable monster that day. This experience probably helped to build the fire in Zelensky’s belly!

God put A LOT on Zelensky's shoulders - but he gave him a good friend just when he needed it most:

From both Zelensky and Biden.

Out of the blue, puts Republicans on the spot right before Christmas and right before they take over the House. Just a savage political move that gives more force to the spending bill while ensuring support for Ukraine. Biden is the most politically savvy President in a long time. And not in a woo the voters way, but in a way to manipulate the gears in Washington to box in Republicans and get things done.

President Johnson was also a long time member of the Senate who knew how to get the results he needed. The two Presidents had different methods of operation, but were masters of getting legislation passed by Congress. WE LOVE YOU, JOE!

He met with Trump in New York, but I don't think he did elsewhere in the United States.

Tfg didn't want to look like he was offering legitimacy and credibility to Putin's opponent, so he could stay on Putin's good(??) side.

Visiting Russians were free to wander around the Oval Office away from witnesses and Secret Service, take pictures, take/leave souvenirs.

Trump attempts to blackmail Zelenskyy to help him defeat Biden. Most Americans did not know who the hell Zelenskyy was at that time.

Trump conspired with Putin to help him win the 2016 election.

Present day. Biden is president.

Putin is now labeled a war criminal.

Trump is politically, legally, road kill.

Zelenskyy is now one of the most famous , respected, leaders on the planet.

Pres. Zelenskyy understood that Chump was trying to blackmail him by withholding the military aid that our Congress promised to give Ukraine. It was already in the works before Chump and Zelenskyy became leaders.

Chump thought he could push Zelenskyy into helping him get some kind of dirt on the Bidens, and Zelenskyy absolutely refused. But that's all old news.

Let's hope that things go better for Pres. Zelenskyy today, and I'm sure they will.

it's written across President Zelensky's face, then and now. The man has aged two decades since these vids were shot.

As for Mr. Orange-Face? His ugliness hasn't changed an iota.
