When Karl Rove went into meltdown over Ohio (during which Ohio itself became irrelevant), I was dipping into the schadenfreude by watching Fox.
Basically, they had him throwing his hissy while Anchormodel Megyn Kelly was sent from the news desk, camera in tow, to the "decision desk" boiler room to convey Rove's questions.
As she was going down the hall, she got to a point where she said "When we rehearsed this, my sound cut out right about here" indicating the range of her wireless headset.
"When we rehearsed this"?
They "rehearsed" Rove's freak out and her dramatic stroll to the decision desk?
Anyone else notice that? Why, pray tell, would they have "rehearsed" that performance?

A Punch and Judy show, with master manipulators pulling the strings, that's what Faux News is!

(233 posts)She meant her wireless microphone would lose its frequency at that point in the hallway. I don't believe she meant rehearsing the Karl Rove's silly act.

(62,444 posts)That is one hypothesis.
Unfortunately, it is an incorrect one. Earlier in the evening, since I was watching Fox for shits and giggles, they did a walking tour of the Fox studios with Brett Baer (sp?) walking from the election studio, to the adjacent studio, to the control room, the radio studio, and so on.
They aired that piece and there was no sound dropout.
Tell me again about your "reality"?
Karl Rove HAD to put on a performance of shock last night because he took in a metric ton of cash from people who were not going to be happy with him just saying "oh well" and toddling off.
But you conclude what "reality" is on the basis of easily demonstrable dispel able fact. They AIRED a walk through of the studios earlier in the evening, and there was no sound problem.

(62,444 posts)I'm sorry that your perception differs from mine, but I do not see why they would have rehearsed that bizarre walk from the anchor desk to the decision room. That is how it struck me.
Can you explain what it is you believe I am trying to win? Being unable to spell my name doesn't make you any more persuasive in that regard.

Meaning that they pre-staged that little amateurish performance art crap.
