One of the more amateur email scams I've seen lately.

Imagine that! Out of hundreds of millions of people, I'm one of only five people chosen to receive two million dollars!
Too good to be true? You bet.
This is the email I was sent. I wonder what the catch is?

In the status line at the top of the e-mail, isn't there a place where it lists all of the people to whom the e-mail was sent? I'd be interested to look through that list and see if there are more than five people on it.

they should have said your winning number to send in is your credit card number + security code lol

The giveaway is the contact person's email address.
It's a gmail account that anyone can get.
If it was legit, the email would be a company or law firm.
