Early voting for state question on legalizing recreational marijuana in Oklahoma starts Thursday
Oklahomans can start casting their votes to decide whether to legalize recreational marijuana in the Sooner State.
On Thursday and Friday, voters have a chance to vote early on State Question 820. During early voting, you can head to your county election between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. to cast your ballot.
Election officials said you don't need an excuse to vote early, but you have to vote at an early voting location in the county in which you're registered. You can find your polling place on the Oklahoma State Election Board's online voter portal.
For voters who requested mail-in absentee ballots, your county election board must receive those no later than 7 p.m. on election night. Standard absentee ballots, if hand-delivered, must be brought to the county election board by the end of the day Monday, March 6.
