Germany, France and Britain want to use the promise of stronger ties between NATO and Ukraine...

Yes, as I expected... the West, behind closed doors is tiring of the war... and pushing Ukraine to negotiate, including concessions of land.

Germany, France and Britain want to use the promise of stronger ties between NATO and Ukraine as leverage to convince Kyiv to pursue peace talks with Moscow. U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak wants NATO’s July summit to discuss an incentive in the form of an agreement that would give Kyiv much broader access to advanced military equipment, WSJ reported. French and German leaders told their Ukrainian counterpart during their meeting on Feb. 9 he needed to start considering peace talks. Emmanuel Macron also told Volodymyr Zelensky that he had been a great war leader, but that he would eventually have to make difficult decisions. There are deepening private doubts among politicians in the U.K., France and Germany that Ukraine will be able to expel the Russians, and a belief that the West can only help sustain the war effort for so long, according to WSJ.

"Hey just give a chunk of your country over to the genocidal manic putin and we'll help you out with some more equipment?"

Hell no.

Beyond the most basic reason: morality... the West needs to continue assist the war effort because, quite frankly, it is crippling the army of a madman that has intentions that go beyond Ukraine. I don't want to wait for the next time putin decides to make some other country suffer as terribly as Ukraine already has.

give putin anything he can call a victory and the time to rebuild his forces is a BAD idea for anyone on the planet.

The truth of the matter is...

This war will go on for years, a million dead... global instability. Unless something is done.

I can link to articles from unbiased authors that state Russia IS winning the war... albeit at great cost.

There is a reason why Germany, France and UK are pushing this.

I disagree about further incursions into NATO lands...

Russia would get smoked. Ukraine was just a hint at what they'd encounter.

Also, I predict that Putin is gone within a year or two anyways.

If Ukraine is forced to settle with eastern land concessions, make the RuZZians pay for it by losing Belarus.

NATO and the UN would have a shit.

Two, they don't have that big of a military.

If they move troops to the North, they lose Kherson or Kharkiv.

It’s coming if/when hostilities cease in Ukraine.

They will be well trained and have Ukrainian volunteers.

If it has a military left after this conflict…

IMO, Lukashitko is on borrowed time.
