paying into Social Security and Medicare and those getting close to get there money and benefits .......got a fucking question for you.....why.....why are you not going after people that do not, I repeat do not pay into the two program's after $160,000 dollars now.....what you are talking about is legalized discrimination based on a means test .....are you going to bring in let's say this organization (see below)....or are you going to be bringing in BS artists that give the spiel that people are living longer......

(2,331 posts)At least over the past 3 years. I'm sure Covid played a role, however other health factors are also at play here (obesity, diet, access to healthcare). They really don't have an argument to raise the age other than they are pigs.

(2,961 posts)to 62? Probably almost none of the representatives in Congress have ever gotten their hands dirty. They have no idea how a physically demanding job wears out the body. People making a living in one of the trades really are just about worn out by the age of 60.
