Most of us get wound up by our politics and find ourselves fighting in wars we don’t always want to be a part of. It all happens one small step at a time and suddenly you find yourself in the fight.

Soldiers who fight and endure honorably always get my respect regardless of the side they fight for.

(I mention honorably to exclude groups like Hitler’s SS and the thugs that rape and torture civilians).
