It started in the 90’s when Clinton was in office and most likely before then!
It just escalated into a free for all over the past 30 plus years. It is call the Reagan extremists law! Reagan allowed a law to be passed to green light the extremist to spew their lies over the networks without being monitored by the very people who passed the law.
News isn’t the News anymore, so that is how Fox News became so much more than the news reporting that we once had. Their desperate disgrace to twist the truth made them billions of dollars and they didn’t care who they hurt along the way. Now, moving 30 years to future? More and Fox News types will push the lies to the brink of who to believe or not.
I don’t see ever ending until the government steps in and starts a process to make news people held accountable for their lies. For example, Tucker Carlson should have been held responsible for lying about what the tapes that McCarthy gave to Fox regarding the J-6 riot and how Carlson portrayed Officer Sicknick’s death. It won’t happen before I leave this earth, but it sure would be sight to see! Carlson hauled off by handcuffs!
