It's basically little more than a political ad for VA Gov. Glenn Youngkin, the featured guest. He's gotten a few decent questions--is there systemic racism in VA's educational system? What have you done specifically to address the problem of students coming to school with guns?--but he ends up giving long, rambling non-answers full of focus group tested buzzwords. Worse, Jake Tapper, whose work I tend to like, is just letting him skate on not answering. He asks follow-ups, but he never bothers to say "You didn't answer the question" and they just move on to Youngkin speechifying some more.
I was actually looking forward to this, but it's insufferable.

(51,568 posts)and haven't for several months since they said they were gong to start showing what they called "both sides from now on". Sort of like what you are describing right now. I will watch CNN if there is a national weather story or a major disaster. They can't screw that up too much.

(16,933 posts)enough to tell me it was a free ad for GY hosted by my least favorite CNN "personality" who really, really hates teachers.
