Is a pos. Traditionally, the youngest brother of the King gets the Duke of Edinburgh title. Edward and Sophie's son James will become the new Earl of Wessex.

Paid his massive legal bills/fines after he dragged their names through the mud. Over two million Pounds I believe.

Edward and Sophie kept their noses clean, raised good kids, and now elevated to their Grace's, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.

Edward: "Mother may I" take 1 step forward.
Charles: Yes, Edward, you are now Duke of Edinburgh.
Andrew: (tries to steal 1 step forward)
Charles: Ah ha, Andrew, you perve -- I caught you. Go back to the starting line!
Andrew: (squeals like a pig, while backward walking to the starting line)

The game continues until Charles solidifies the positions of contenders.

Just gave Andrew Harry's old digs in Windsor. Free housing for life. Not that he deserves it, but Chuck ain't gonna throw him out in the cold.

afterwards but since the queen died - just ick.

King Charles and Queen Camilla? Two thrones at the coronation? Meghan and Harry sulking in over the top luxury in Ca? Oh brother!!

This crowd has really lost any tiny shred of normalcy they MAY have had.

It's real life soap opera of the first order. You're really surprised people like to follow the story line?

claim normalcy? Relatively speaking, they're pretty normal compared to their forebears. This gang hasn't loped off anybody's head in at least a century.

when the king is married to his consort - George V and George VI had their wives crowned as queens at the same time they were crowned. Elizabeth was the odd one out, refusing to let her spouse be crowned or even recognized IIRC as her consort. I think they make these "traditions" up as they go along according to what suits them.

My sister is a big fan of the Windsors, why I have no idea as we have no connection to Great Britain, other than speaking the language.
