My gut is, they don't know shit about shit. Most American's don't; their approval/disapproval is just vibes based on gas prices.

Polls aren't worth a shit either. They used to have accurate predictions but that hasn't happened in the last five election cycles.

I expect because I pulled one Republican primary ballot (to try to avoid the Rauner IL governor debacle). . So I do their poll every week. It alternates between making me giggle and making me furious when I hear what the “scandal du jour” is that they are contemplating or are currently pushing. I actually hung up on the poll last week when the recorded voice asked me how I reacted after hearing the study “proving” that masks made no difference in COVID transmission. My choices were “very surprised”, “somewhat surprised”, “not very surprised”, “not at all surprised”, and “not sure” and since I had no way to convey that I did not accept their premise I hung up at that point. The week before was the “it’s okay to be white” question.

Anyway, this particular respondent is not answering in response to gas prices - I drive a 2012 Nissan Leaf

about his accomplishments. Keep saying what you do and doing what you say, Joe, it's working.
