Does anyone know of any new House member who didn't know the Pledge of Allegiance?

enough to lead it, so they declined?

Don't know if US House or State House.

Suspect it was something on Fox ? I googled and found nothing except the debate about the subject in US House.

Reason I ask is because it was brought up in our family text chain by a wingnut member . Who doesn't know the person's name.

if many of the member that can recite the pledge actually BELIEVE the pledge, and, if so, why the fuck did they vote to NOT CERTIFY THE FREE AND FAIR ELECTION of President Joe Biden???

do they understand the "one nation, under god, indivisible" phrase?

Rep. David Cicilline, D-R.I., then said he was introducing an amendment to Gaetz's amendment that clarified that the pledge cannot be led by anyone who has supported an insurrection against the United States in any way.

Born in Columbia. Lived in Spain. Never been in politics. She would have never have had to learn it.

Probably not a good look for a newbie but hell in 1943 US SC struck down requirements to force people to recite. It's the states that can have their own rules.
