In military academies, 1 in 5 female students said they experienced sexual assault

https://www.npr.org/2023/03/12/1162861309/military-academies-sexual-assault-survey

The Department of Defense received 155 formal reports of sexual assault at three military academies during the 2021-22 school year — and officials suspect that hundreds more went unreported.

The figure comes from a mandated anonymous survey conducted at service academies to address the likelihood that many young men and women are reluctant to come forward about sexual assault and harassment — an issue that has plagued the military for years.

About 12,700 students are enrolled at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the U.S. Naval Academy and the U.S. Air Force Academy. These schools are considered training grounds to shape the future leaders of the military.

The survey found that 21.4 percent of female students and 4.4 percent of male students indicated that they experienced unwanted sexual contact, from groping to rape, in the past school year — which could mean over 1,100 students were victims but only 14 percent of cadets and midshipmen went on to report the incident to military authorities, the Defense Department estimates.

there has, and always been disgusting and frankly rude PIGS in society. The military academies aren’t some godly and wholesome learning environments in which one can study and work hard to become an elite military specimen, without any harassment.

Society is chock full of products of modern living.

There are no boundaries. There are no borders. There is no line that can’t be crossed, or at least attempted to.

T***p has shown the world one must only think about one’s own self-gratification. There are no morals or decency limits which should never be crossed, except by only the most brutish and piggish among us.

I would recommend a swift knee to the groin to any guy who attempts unwanted physical contact. Of course, that particular guy will be butt-hurt far beyond explanation and will probably react in a violent fashion, spurned by YouTube videos of dickheads behaving badly.

That’s when running away is prudent.

Free education, free medical, clothing, food, and a salary on top of that.
The least they can do is not act like animals.

And the perps are well if the victim has even one drink and that comes out it could hurt their career.
