Trump blames Pence for J6, the gall of this fucking asshole really pisses me off.

They were just talking about this on MSNBC. Trump mocks all of us, the entire country, our democracy, our entire justice system.

He must be indicted, convicted and imprisoned. Lets all of us wish Garland, Smith, Willis, Bragg, the best of luck. When Trump is brought to justice I am going to celebrate like its the 4th of July.

1. I can't think of anything better than Trump regularly pissing off Pence.

Pence is probably the most credible witness to put the topping on the cake on any number of charges.

Go ahead Trump, make Pence hate you.

2. What makes me angry is Trump is saying Pence should have sent the votes back to the States.

He is saying Pence should have joined the coup and J6 wouldn't have happened. I have had enough of Trump. He has to be prosecuted or I hope he has a massive heart attack and dies.

4. I understand your feeling, but think how Pence reacts to those statements?

Hope that pushes Pence well into the "I want that asshole in jail" position. And Pence could do it. And then run for WH, and have a real shot at winning with all the never Trumpers voting for him. The rest of the GOP will line up as usual.

Pence has got to be doing these kinds of mental calculations. What he needs more than anything is lifetime secret service protection...

5. Pence was aware of Trump's plans before the fact and did nothing

Knowledge before the fact in a lot of situations is considered a crime.

Mike pence was not the only one who also knew about this, as all the documents and testimony attest.

Germany banned their Nationalist Socialist Party.

The GOP is America's Nat-C Party.

I say it's past time to do the same.

6. This is why prosecutors trade immunity for testimony.

Pence could do it. Jack Smith would go for it, I am sure. Trump is the target, not Pence.

9. You're welcome, I get this from the podcast "Jack".

I highly recommend it. Allison Gill and Andy McCabe (Andy was previous Deputy Dir of FBI, who Trump fired because Andy was part of the Trump/Russia investigation in 2016-2017).

They do a great job explaining how the justice system really works for us laypeople, and lower my stress by taking focus off the clickbait headlines (which nearly all are in the mainstream media with regards to Trump investigations).

The podcast is once a week and they cover what happened in the past week. I believe they are on episode 15 now, they run about 1 hour. The first episodes cover Jack Smith's history in DOJ.

The other thing about immunity, it removes pleading the 5th from a witness's options, because it literally becomes impossible to incriminate yourself. It can be a powerful tool for prosecutors in the right situations.

I savor carefully informed well reasoned analysis from individuals that have the depth, breadth and intellectual acumen to lay bare what otherwise might be obscured from my line of sight or hidden by my own preconceived understanding.

Much Appreciated!

3. Trump subscribes to the idea that the best defense is a good offense.

Now, Trump's offense is typically crappy, but coupled with America's seeming dislike of holding powerful people accountable, it has served him well.

No doubt much of this was the influence of Roy Cohn, who cut his teeth helping Joe McCarthy during the Red Scare and worked with Trump's father as a lawyer.

When you spew so much shit, throwing wild accusations around at anyone but yourself, you create confusion and muddy the waters to the extent that "the truth can never really be known" Again, this is kind of stupid, but when you are rich and connected, you get away with it.

I think ultimately Trump bit off more than he could chew by becoming president. He is not intelligent enough to really be that devious. He is relying on the power of the office, again, our major reluctance to hold powerful people to account, and the protection of a smaller but very powerful political party, which is defending its brand as much as it is him.

I am sure a lot of people will be very happy if and when Trump actually has to answer for what he has done.
