When you are white, rich and powerfull you do not have to endure the same things that normal people do. They will ask his attorneys when its convenient for him to show up to be arraigned and then he will be released in time to go have lunch.

Have to surrender his passport.... Doubt that would stop him from running, but he would have o find a reason besides the charges...He is unable to admit there is any chance to be convicted because it was somebody else's fault.

Screw his passport - he has the means to fly anywhere in the world.

But no passport somewhat limits his choices... Probably not enough to stop him but he can never come back and would forfeit a lot of his possessions I would think... If they actually let him go on bail that is also forfeit.

FIRST, this is a NEW YORK STATE charge, and NY has, in response to many demands by progressives, reduced or eliminated cash bail requirements.

SECOND, this is not an obscure person who can disappear after walking out of the arraignment. He's one of the most public characters in the world, and the specific NYS crime is more likely to result in fines than jail time. No reason he wouldn't be released on recognizance.

And on this charge he’s likely to get a fine rather than prison time.

If so, why would Trump "likely to get a fine rather than prison time" if Michael Cohen got prison time for the same crime?

Unless, perhaps, you're just as cynical about the system being impartial as I am.

...is because the DoJ didn't act quickly enough before the Federal statute of limitations kicked in. Wonderful.
