Trump sticks Tulsa with security tab ahead of likely arrest

Donald Trump, the 45th President of the United States, spent the last week telling supporters to prepare for his arrest, which could come as soon as Tuesday according to him.

Alvin Bragg, the Democratic district attorney of Manhattan, is currently investigating Trump on campaign finance charges. Trump allegedly paid sex workers to stay silent about their previous encounters with him during the 2016 presidential campaign. Trump then allegedly billed a private company to recoup that money.

Whether Trump gets arrested remains to be seen, but that didn’t stop the former president from observing the Division 1 Wrestling Finals in Tulsa, Oklahoma over the weekend.

Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-Oklahoma) told Tulsa World that the visit wasn’t political but rather about showing Trump what “Tulsa had to offer.” The outlet noted that Trump received a “warm if not overwhelming” reception at the BOK Center.
