WI: Sen. Baldwin, 'Pod Save America' hosts canvass for Protasiewicz (D) ahead of election
MADISON, Wis. -- The spring general election is just around the corner, and the nation's eyes are on Wisconsin. The race for the state Supreme Court is already the most expensive judicial race in U.S. history.
Saturday afternoon, Senator Tammy Baldwin and Democratic Part of Wisconsin chair Ben Wikler were out and about, canvassing for Judge Janet Protasiewicz. They were joined by the hosts of the popular progressive podcast 'Pod Save America,' Jon Favreau and Jon Lovett.
Favreau and Lovett served as aides during the Obama administration. The two along with Baldwin and Wikler focused on the push to restore abortion access in Wisconsin.
"What you guys do in the next 17 days matters not just for the next decade or longer in this state, but to the entire country," Favreau said. "What happens here in Wisconsin will resonate with the rest of the country."
