Here is mid WI--I have two friends recently test positive. One not doing too good and was hospitalized. She had many underlying health problems. The other one only minor symptoms and recovered quickly
Both vaccinated and boosted.

This morning, I tested positive for COVID-19. Thankfully, I am fully vaccinated and boosted and only experiencing minor symptoms. I will quarantine consistent with CDC guidelines and follow advice from my doctor while I continue to work remotely.

two weeks ago, on a once-in-a-lifetime (I'm 75) London visit and doing the whole OMG Harrods experience, I found the one item that actually had a price tag (a cinnamon pastry)..while going though the self-check, the woman overseeing the registers approached me (we were both wearing masks) but I kept my distance..she asked me where I was from and said she would like to visit New York but she was unable to travel because she was not vaccinated...however, she was thinking maybe she should get "the jab" because in January both her parents and younger brother contracted Covid and died within weeks of each other...said she rarely wears a mask but she had a slight fever and was coughing and said maybe she would get tested but maybe not because (get this!) God would show her the way...I had no intentions of telling this woman that no one is checking proof of vaccination cards, anymore...

and that is why I will wear a mask to my grave...

My county is kind of hot right now, the tourists are returning, so masking will be with me for the foreseeable future, as I expected two years ago.

My therapist tested positive last month and I had to go through the process of testing and quarantine but I tested negative both times.

Wish him well, I hope he has an easy time of it.

will soon be reaping the whirlwind as the FL anti-vaxxers and anti-maskers mix with the influx of spring-breakers and vacationers from all over. I don't think he will be so arrogant and proud of his COVID stances.
