Also I think people are panicking because he ain't remotely the only one who's guilty, & if his brazenness opens the floodgates to federal prosecution of prominent national political figures, that's a potentially tremendously costly own goal for the people who signed up with him

(86,502 posts)Breaking all the rules to protect him, he's like the thumb in the dike, once he's been indicted, and in a possible RICO case, they all go with him.
I am stocked up on popcorn and have nothing better to watch this next few weeks while I await planting weather.

(15,237 posts)They had to be forced to clean up the mess of the things they did not permanently damage. There was a lot of guilt and hate in there as they were forced to confront their crimes. Being a little older than they were, I was just as disgusted with their attitude after they cleaned up. Having supervised them I will never understand what motivated them.
