Why do I smell something rotten in Trumpland (Apologies to Shakespeare) and the potential arrest..

Apparently Trump just pulled that one out of thin air.. no leaks.. now why would he do such a thing.. call to get his people ginned up again aka 1/6? Needs money and is fundraising 1/6? I would love to see him arrested for and brought to justice for all the shenanigans he pulled and damage he and his family and their group of followers have done to this county!!! and what do the republicans in the congress do?... they call for an investigation of the prosecutors? who thought this load of crapola up?? 3

EDIT to ADD.. if the right thinks for a second they are going to get the prosecutors distracted from hauling his fat behind before a jury.. think again.. the last witness will be called before the jury today and then they deliberate and make a decision.. Trump is grifting again is my guess.

appear "victorious" at his rally in Waco. He can declare victory and tell the rubes that the government is afraid of him.

Making the post on a Saturday forces all the Republicans on the Sunday show to make statements of support.

That and of course the attention and fundraising he will do off of it. I think the timing though was to force the GOP to say they were supporting him at the beginning of the week.

I suspect someone told him it could be "as early as Tuesday" and he flipped out.

And they aren't like regular juries - they get to ask the witnesses questions. In a complex case with a lot of witnesses a grand jury can take a long time to finish.
