Lauren Boebert is one of the biggest Trump apologists. In a series of tweets, Boebert claimed that the potential arrest of the former president is a “witch hunt” and claimed that his arrest is the only thing that would give Democrats an advantage in the elections in 2024.

She concluded, “First it was the J6ers. Today it is Trump. Tomorrow it could be you.”

The representative for Colorado’s 3rd congressional district’s statement came under fire. One person replied, “The political movement you are part of literally chanted lock her up about a political opponent for years. Trump is being investigated by an independent judiciary. Sit down.”
