This Is Florida

The "gentleman" above is Eric Popper. According to police, in 2021 he cut off another car in traffic, brake checked the car when they honked at him (you can see him in the video below jamming on the brakes, and the speedometer in the bottom left corner briefly drops below 50 MPH when just seconds earlier, at the start of the video, he'd been doing 70), then took out a gun and shot as the other car as they pulled past him. Remarkably, the action was all caught by his own dashcam monitor.

His home should be raided and it verified that he no longer has any weapons there. He should then be checked regularly, and without notice, to ensure his loss of his “right” to bear arms is being adhered to.

plus he is a total POS.

He was, by his allegation, "standing his ground" for whatever that's worth. They couldn't disprove that. Charges got dropped.

Not defending the guy, an obvious idiot for his actions in traffic and likely otherwise. Just defending reality.

He should have been arrested and charged. And then if there was any evidence the other one was shooting, they should be arrested and charged too.
