But the anti-abortion supporter began her comments with an attack on Democrats and appeared to suggest their stance on abortion meant babies should be included on the register, reported Colorado Public Radio.

“I do want to say before my opening remarks, you know, since we’re talking about the Endangered Species Act, I’m just wondering if my colleagues on the other side would put babies on the endangered species list,” she said, holding up the images.

“These babies were born in Washington D.C., full term,” Boebert claimed. “I don’t know, maybe that’s a way we can save some children here in the United States.”

Boebert then railed against the Endangered Species Act, claiming it has been “weaponized by extremists, extremist environmentalists, to obstruct common sense multiple-use activities that they disagree with.”

Boebert’s photo stunt drew condemnation on social media, where she was slammed as “beyond deplorable.”

Wayne LaPierre, the executive vice-president of the National Rifle Association, has called for a dynamic new initiative to reduce gun violence in US schools.

Mandatory gun training for every fetus!

"We cannot seriously expect America's infants and school-children to be able to defend themselves against deranged gun-lovers and our sensitive supporters without proper training. We propose that all fetuses be given mandatory weapons training in the womb. So that when the baby emerges he or she is already an all-American gun hero ready to mow down anything that comes into their kindergarten brandishing anything beyond an automatic pea-shooter."

"When members of Congress wrote the Second Amendment in 1791, they knew exactly what the 21st century would be like. They understood that there would be assault weapons, machine guns, high-capacity ammo clips, firearms capable of massacring first-graders -- and that there would be amoral thuggish bullies dictating America's gun policy. That's why they gave our members the right to bare arms. And the right to wear red-neck sleeveless shirts while blowing away defenseless animals and children. God Save the AK-47, the Uzi and the NRA! Merry Christmas and drop dead..."

It should be countered with a public question on whether she is going to support hun reform, to protect the fetus as it gets older. The leading cause of child deaths is guns.

Enough to flip at least 550 voters who saw fit to put her barely over the top in the last election. Her absurd antics will not flip votes over to her side of crazy. So far, "so good".

does that mean they were stillborn? Pictures of dead "babies born at full term" implies they were born. If the pictures are from late term abortions, there is a reason for the termination.

The anti-choice crowd has a long history of misrepresenting photos of stillbirths, miscarriages, etc. as "abortions."

Claim that abortions are perform even up to birth!

And that they obviously have no f'ing clue as to what "term" implies nor do they understand, many of the ones with penises, how all that stuff works. Yet they seek to gain control over every aspect of the event, including the conception part.

I think it's time to just cut them off from attention, love and affection until they figure out what kind of assholes they are, if they die off first, oh well.

question is, "Where did she get those pictures?" Did somebody in the delivery room take them? Violation of privacy? Or, can we use child porn laws, since that performance is clearly designed to get people off?

Boebert could show a picture of Sun Hudson.

Pro-life to conservatives/republicans is a myth.

Republicans are in favor of killing living babies and have done so.

The supposed pro-lifers cared naught when the state of Texas (republican gov, republican Prez) deliberately killed living baby Sun Hudson against the mother's wishes because he was an inconvenience to the state.

It is not a matter of life to the supposed pro-lifers.

It is a matter of control.

completely NON-reality based stunt! But it's also kind of hilarious! Why. Because Bobo implied that fetuses are not human!

The National Geographic Society defines an endangered species as "a type of organism that is threatened by extinction."
https://education.nationalgeographic.org/resource/endangered-species/

The same orgzanization says "A species is often defined as a group of organisms that can reproduce naturally with one another and create fertile offspring. However, the classification of a species can be difficult—even riddled with controversy."
https://education.nationalgeographic.org/resource/species/

And finally, here is a definition of the word fetus: "The yet-to-be born mammalian offspring following the embryonic stage, [which] is still going through further development prior to birth."
https://www.biologyonline.com/dictionary/fetus

In other words, a fetus is not a separate species. It is a pre-birth developmental stage, common to all mammalian organisms. A fetus is an organism of the same species as the orgnisms that provided its DNA.

The anti-choice crowd is constantly preaching that all organisms with human DNA, including fetuses, embryos, and even zygotes (eggs that have just been fertilized by a sperm, right now, this very minute) are human. They are very, VERY emphatic about this. They even want to pass laws about this. Is homo sapiens an endangered species? Hell no! Perhaps this could happen eventually if the effects of climate change are severe enough, but currently? No way.

Since a particular developmental stage =/= a species, it is impossible for any particular organism at any developmental stage to be an endangered species. If the species it belongs to is endangered, it could be considered a member of an endangered species, but that is a completely different thing.

TL/dr: Bobo can't call a fetus with human DNA an endangered species OR a member of an endangered species, without implying that it is not human, which would be a complete repudiation of a central tenet of the anti-choice credo!

that this freaking (swearing now) piece of cow dung does this. I am just livid.

Everyone is doing exactly what she aimed to do...change the subject, talk about humans and fetuses but doing everything against animals and nature. She has succeeded in getting everyone talking about this to do her bidding.
