Now. Question. Statute of Limitations on indictment

For Fraud, it’s 6 years. And this took place in 2016?

Isn’t it safe to assume that Bragg (and the jury members) are aware of the statute of limitations so this is likely a pretty serious charge?

Because he left the state and changed residency to Florida, it froze the statute of limitations.
