So, have our crazy friends concluded Petraeus was "set up" yet?

<nutjob>

Of course the only reason why he was kept in the administration was to give the Obama thugs time to set him up and knock him down in order to eliminate him as a future political opponent.

I question the timing here. Just as we are re-grouping from the stolen election, they kneecap the best prospect for 2016.

</nutjob>

If they haven't come up with this on their own yet, then perhaps someone might give them some help. Throw the drowning folks another anchor.

anywhere, let alone in the military.

No wait, . . . he's CIA, so he compromised his intelligence position? Is that it?

There is a question as to whether she accessed his email accounts.

There is no suspicion that she was a spy of any sort; but there is a question as to the compromise of classified material.

She may be an innocent...but, then...it's CIA...known to use "innocents" if they need to.

Innocents used against Vanity.

Who Knows... It's indeed an odd story playing out. Will have to see how it all develops...but, doesn't look too good for either of them, so far, imho.

She knew that a puff job book would make a bundle. Petraus has a huge GOP following. He was bandied about as a running mate for Money Boo Boo for a while, there.

The name of her book takes on an unfortunate (snicker, snicker) meaning...!

but if you want to believe the RW SPIN then do it.

Things are much more complicated than "My Team vs. Your Team" and rooting with this story.

There are "Death by Drone" innocents that come into play with Petraeous's Strategy...that should not be forgot...and more to the story than what the MSM is putting out at this point.

The details about all this are undoubtedly going to be dripping out, day by
day for awhile it seems.

The resignation comes at a sensitive time. The administration and the CIA have struggled to defend security and intelligence lapses before the attack that killed the U.S. ambassador to Libya and three others. It was an issue during the presidential campaign that ended with Obama's re-election Tuesday.

The CIA has come under intense scrutiny for providing the White House and other administration officials with talking points that led them to say the Benghazi attack was a result of a film protest, not a militant terror attack. It has become clear that the CIA was aware the attack was distinct from the film protests roiling across other parts of the Muslim world.

I nip that shit in the bud. Yesterday a RW coworker tried to tell me some RW bullshit, and I shot her down with facts. After 3 years of her doing this, she still doesn't get it, LOL. I mean she thinks I'm a genius (not even close, but compared to her...yes), and yet she still thinks her RWNJ beliefs are valid and mine are not.

incompetent CIA director who failed to provide adequate security at the Benghazi site--an area that his people had oversight over/responsibility for. "Some people say" too, that CIA failed in their duty in even allowing the Ambassador anywhere near that edifice given the threat assessments for the area. So, from the standpoint of a professional military/intelligence person, it's much better to go away labeled as a horn dog than a loser who lost the bubble on an intelligence enterprise and caused the death of fellow citizens. After all, horn dogs (be they governors or Presidents) have second acts; incompetent people who cost the lives of fellow citizens often do not.

But who knows? It's early days, still...
