Mass shootings. Nashville, Memphis, Mississippi, Michigan, Washington DC, Los Angeles, Half Moon Bay, Monterey Park, Goshen, Enoch, Utah. Last year, 2022 there was 647 mass shootings and before that, Sandy Hook, and the list goes on. All these places are trying their best to protest, write letters and implore their elected to do something. Time to get organized. Gabby Gifford’s has a great foundation going as does Brady gun campaigns but if there was one tent for all to gather and put their efforts together, maybe they could become a real force. There are experienced organizers that could teach the many who are protesting but don’t have a central leader. There are many from Parkland doing a great job..David Hogg is active, rep Maxwell Ford could be a resource. There’s power in numbers and if the people knew how to Chanel that power, I’m thinking it could be a real force to make real change…I’m just thinking here…

It depends on what constitutes real change.

If real change is more firearm regulatory measures, such as a Federal AWB, that change will fall prey to the Trump Court.

3. I'm proposing real change..a positive outcome would be what the mission they choose..

I think people are ready for more than lip service and it may mean some political changes..like voting in people of like mind and a real effort to vote out the dead weight.

2. Gun violence is a national disaster so it needs a national response

Put a call out to churches, synagogues, mosques…people of every size, shape, color, persuasion and belief systems. If it was under one big umbrella but spread out to all states and counties to mobilize, the numbers would be to big to ignore..as the song goes. Fight and fight hard once the mission is set and everyone knows the plan..then keep our eyes on the prize..good trouble and all that. We know it can be done. We did it for Vietnam. We did it for voting right and civil rights.
