But why? I agree. My only guess is that they are building the case of the century, and when they wallop him with it, he'll be completely overwhelmed. It's gotta be a whole big list of crimes. And you don't want to arrest him, post bail, over and over again as you uncover more crimes. Yes, he should be detained pending trial but he's got unlimited $ and it would put the judge in the very tough position of detaining a former president, without bail.

Garland/Smith are not going for a one count federal indictment...two grand juries..January 6 and classified documents...they are going for multiple count indictments on both investigations...and until every federal offense is uncovered/investigated, statutes cited, witness testimonies wrapped up, and the grand juries issue indictment referrals , we have no choice but to wait..I want Trump charged soon, damnit!
