Trump to call hotel Doonbeg on the Ocean because 'we have the ocean and nobody else does'

The delusional twice impeached rapist is claiming exclusive ownership of the Atlantic Ocean it seems.

This come in from the Irish Times, where the locals are amused by his antics.

Former US president Donald Trump has said he will be calling his hotel in Co Clare Doonbeg on the Ocean because “we have the ocean and nobody else does”.

Speaking after he played his round of golf at the resort on Thursday, Mr Trump said:

“It’s called Doonbeg on the Ocean,” he said. “It’s not a new name, but we’re adding the word ‘Ocean’. Because I said to myself, ‘it’s on the ocean, if it’s on the ocean, we call it Doonbeg on the Ocean, we have the ocean, and nobody else does, so that’s what we’re calling it”. He said the name Trump would remain on the property.

He also spewed many lies about his rape trial that were covered in that same article.

Doonbeg is a very small village with a total population of under 300. Accomodations in the area are pretty typical of rural Ireland and consist mainly of rental properties and B&Bs.

Too bad the amadan of Doonbeg doesn’t realize the English translation of the town name. He’d claim it’s “fake”. I was there this past September and drove through the property out of curiosity. The man at the gate, with a wry smile after I told him of my intense dislike for the rapist traitor, said it was okay to pass through as long as I don’t do any vandalism or graffiti because the visitor center in town has had anti-trump messages left on the toilet walls. I told him I might use my voice to disrupt anyone about to putt, and he laughed and reminded me of the Irish way of urging someone to go to hell in such a way as he’ll look forward to the trip! BTW, the Royal Portrush course on the Causeway coast was established in 1888, Lahinch, also in Co Clare on the ocean, was started around 1890, and Ballybunion, Co Kerry was established shortly after, also on the ocean. They are all in top 100 courses in the world. So trump is quite late in the game, and his course is insignificant for “real” golf fans. The Irish government basically told him to feck off a few years back when he requested anti-erosion barriers be placed unnaturally near the dunes on the course.
