There is an issue in the E. Jean Carroll verdict I have not seen addressed.
Trump is almost certain to appeal BUT an appeal does not prevent enforcement of a judgment pending appeal by execution or garnishment unless a supersedeas bond is posted.
Is there a bonding company that would sign a $5 million bond for Donald Trump without requiring him to deposit the entire amount? I personally doubt that Trump has that kind of money laying around.
It will be interesting to see if the third tier lenders financing TFG's operations will issue such a bond.
Trump is not known for paying his bills and $5 Million is a number approaching real money.
I'll grant you that $5 Million is chump-change to the Saudis but I wonder if the Saudis care about Trump now.
Both are backing him for president. It is in their best interest to do so. And I dont think either care about toothless, US campaign finance laws.
they expect to get for having to suffer the ownership of slaves and the money they didn't get after stealing the land from the local Natives.
He can do some grifting or his many mysterious backers come to save the day.
here and abroad who would gladly lend him the 5 mil.
The Saudis probably still owe him for the secret docs,
