announced he was running for president? Notice how no one in the news is talking about him since?
That's how they should have treated Trump after the escalator ride. And they still have not learned their lesson.

(37,046 posts)Would kick juniors ass but RFK Sr is dead because he was a good guy. Junior is an idiot, and only a dem by habit. Hes like old Catholics who were groomed to give money to the church and continue to do so. Until they die.

(667 posts)He announced on 6/16/15 that he was running for president.
According to RCP, the day before his announcing, as not even a declared candidate, he was second place to Bush and only trailed by .5%. The day he announced, he overtook Bush in the polls - and a month later, led him by over 12 points.
The thing is, if RFK had surged to within 10 points of Biden after his announcing, he probably would have received more coverage - let alone if he had taken the lead over Biden.

Besides that it's quite rude of Kennedy to launch a primary campaign against a sitting president who intends to run for a 2nd term. Maybe the American news media are having trouble finding things to say about Kennedy that would be the least bit interesting or newsworthy.
