Anyone watching Succession?
I have been. At first I had a hard time with it. It was so cringe. Awkward. But over time I think that is almost the aim. I think it is genius. And tonite, if I understand, in about 30 minutes of this posting, is the Series Finale (the last episode).
What I disliked about it, was having to wait a week for the next episode. Today, HBO did a marathon of the entire season, and I have had it on. The writing is just so good. So much innuendo, sublime slams. And the acting! Shiv is just amazing. And so is Tom. I saw them in an interview, and they are British! Amazing. I think it is a timely ending for the show, I can't wait for the finale. I was just curious if anyone else has any thoughts on the series.

1. Yes, I've been watching it. I agree, great writing.
The last few episodes seemed to show more of the personal side of Logan's "kids." When they're talking to each other, they seem relaxed and comfortable. Yet they separate and become isolated, lonely, and afraid as they plot for personal power. I'm waiting to see how it ends.

2. Shiv and Tom with their real accents is shocking.
The show is a rollercoaster. It can really leave you wrung out.
One thing really sticks out. Every character is an asshole. |

4. Few shows have made me cringe more but the parallels today with the Murdochs and RW politics
make it so relevant. But honestly, there is hardly a single regular character that is even remotely sympathetic. I do miss Brian Cox. He was just so riveting to watch.
