The yellow bridges are known as "The Three Sisters" because they are exactly alike. In addition to Warhol and Clemente, the third bridge is named for Rachel Carson.
Clemente is the Sixth Street bridge, Warhol is the Seventh Street bridge and Carson is the Ninth Street Bridge.

Rick Sebak, a WQED documentary producer, has done a show on Pittsburgh bridges that delves more into these 3 bridges. The documentary is embedded here: https://www.visitpittsburgh.com/blog/25-famous-pittsburgh-bridges/

(15,265 posts)but if the bridge was being repainted, there would be a wrap around it. Wouldn't surprise me if the color was be yellow/gold in keeping with the yellow of the other two bridges.
A few years ago, there was a survey asking Pittsburghers if the bridges should be different colors. For ex, the Carson bridge was proposed to be painted green to honor her environmental activism. But, Pittsburghers being the traditionalists they are, keeping all three bridges yellow was the winner.

(1,761 posts)say this is the reason for sure, but for big dudes, it can be difficult to find clothes, especially shirts, that are made long enough and wide enough across the shoulders. A lot of times, it limits choices to heavy-duty work clothing like Carhart, Dickies, etc.
You can find big&tall stuff, but it's ridiculously expensive most of the time.

(6,785 posts)"OneStopPlus" there is one that carries Big and Tall men's, called "King Size," carrying tall up to "7XL " and big up to "10XL." I'm sure they're more expensive now, since the women's stuff has definitely gone up, but they appear to have great sales (as does the women's side.)

(18 posts)I remember reading when he was Lt Gov of Pa, he would put up a gay pride flag and the Repugs would come and take it down. The senator put it back up and the repugs took it down again. He put the gay pride flag up for the 3rd time and I think the repugs just gave up.

WASHINGTON The latest front line in the free speech war is a balcony in the Pennsylvania state Capitol and it's being fought over marijuana and rainbow flags. The flags belong to Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. John Fetterman, a tattooed 6-foot-8 Democrat considering a run for Senate next year, who hung the pro-legalization green leaf and LGBTQ rights flags from the balcony of his office, which overlooks the state Capitols front steps and much of downtown Harrisburg.
"The GOP collectively shrugged when a couple of its members were photographed down in D.C. on Jan. 6, but my pride and weed flags are a point of outrage for them?" Fetterman told NBC News, referring to the day of the Capitol riot.
Republicans, who control the Legislature, quietly tucked a provision to ban unauthorized flags on Capitol grounds into an omnibus budget bill that passed late last year. After the governor, Tom Wolf, a Democrat who is elected separately from the lieutenant governor, signed it into law needed to avoid a government shutdown state employees removed the flags from Fetterman's balcony earlier this week and left them folded in his office.
Fetterman quickly replaced the flags in defiance of the law and says hell continue to do so if they're taken down again until the state legalizes marijuana and outlaws discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity.

And technically, NBC's thing about the governor "elected separately from the Lt. governor" is only the case in a primary. During the general, they are elected together on the same ticket (assuming they are the same party).
