Anyone else remember the beating Moveon dot org took over its "Betrayus" ad?
Yeah, I know, that's ancient history, runes carved on stone tablets or at best hieroglyphs on papyrus by now.
I think Moveon is owed an apology, Betrayus seems to have been a very apt nickname and truth be told it's a name that was conferred on the Good General by his own troops not made up by Moveon.

8. I also
But I've always referred to him as BetrayUs since I saw the first MoveOn poster on it. It's appropriate, and it fits. I remember when I was in the Navy we'd have officers of his stripe around; fortunately in those days they seemed to make it to LCDR and that would be about it.

5. Not exactly the same, but along the same vein...I was thinking earlier that DU needs to have a
forum for "Conspiracy Theories" and such that are later proven true. There are plenty of them around here. Maybe call it the Vindication forum, or something. Those who felt they were wronged or abused while they were on the trail of the story can post the new story, along with their original post that they were eviscerated over, and then we can all, as a DU Community, post our adulations. When enough adulations get posted (and/or apologies), it could get bumped to Admin for review to receive a Vindicator's Award (a Vindy?). Just an idea.

6. Yes, also the attacks on those of us who were worried about election theft
and advocating changes, so the next time we do NOT have to say I told you so!

11. You bet. I was worried, too. We dodged a bullet. Somebody didn't pull the trigger.
That doesn't mean they won't next time. Changes are needed, and fast.

10. As I recal, Lindsey Graham was one of the loudest voices...
And now he is equally loud about General Betrayus testifying before Congress.
