There was speculation from some of the legal analysists that Meadows had turned on Trump and was cooperating with Smith but if that was the case would Fani Wilis have indicted him as a co-conspirator?

(18,891 posts)with Fani indicting Meadows it will make Jack Smith smile. There will be even more pressure on Meadows now. It was even suggested by Andrew Weissman I think, that Meadows may have perjured himself to the feds.
IMO Meadows is the key person to nail Trump, he was involved in everything. I wouldn't doubt if trump threatened him and his family.

(10,209 posts)I think it's quite possible that both are true. (and the amount and degree of cooperation, if any, remains speculation) I can also see (guess) at a scenario where Smith calculates the state indictment as a tool and advantage - to his own process. Essentially saying, "Make the bastards squeal, Fani!"
