On vacation this week in Oahu Hawaii

And today we went to Pearl Harbor. As we were walking though one of the exhibits about events that truly affected America. I thought Pearl Harbor, 9-11 and January 6th when a megalomaniac tried to overthrow our country and how it has affected our core values and made us unsafe.

2. There is the valley where they filmed Jurassic park Kualoa Ranch

And the food trucks have delicious foods. And the Dole Pineapple plantation is also fun. Also Kailua beach is awesome. This is the first time I’ve been here since 2017 and I’m kind of surprised how much it’s changed.

4. This Navy vet has been to the USS Arizona memorial 3 times..

There are 1,177 of my shipmates entombed there, in a stunning memorial. Its important to note that the memorial is built right over the ship, but does not touch it at any point

6. Halona Beach Cove

On the southeast shore where they filmed the love scene in the movie From Here to Eternity.

Simply beautiful little cove with a blowhole if it’s high tide.
