But Gaza certainly has a lot of people crammed onto a small amount of land.

And yes, Behind The Aegis is right that the 21,000/sq mile is the Gaza City area, not all of Gaza.

Tel Aviv and Jerusalem are both crowded cities Jerusalems population is the densest across the region. While Tel Aviv is less dense than Gaza City, the Jerusalem area has an estimated 21,988 people per square mile, slightly higher than Gaza Citys 21,034.
