I hope Wisconsin Dems can have a civil process. Getting rid of Walker has to be THE priority.

I hope the contender is Erpenvach or Barca. She is good on environmental issues, but lacking in other ways.

As a metro Milwaukee resident, I would prefer Barrett stay as Milwaukee mayor, but would support him as the contender as well.

A lot of talking points, and not a lot of charisma. People of Wisconsin, am I missing something and is she better than she seemed?

A number of Democrats have been eyeing the race, including Falk, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett (who was also Walker’s opponent in the 2010 election), state Sen. Tim Cullen, state Assembly Minority Leader Peter Barca, state Sen. Jon Erpenbach, and others.

Wisconsin doesn't "put somebody up" - people decide if they want to run for office and then one is chosen in a primary.

Kathleen Falk has as much or more executive experience than most of the other candidates whose names will come up in the next few weeks and she would make a fine governor. She was County Executive of Dane County - 2nd largest county in the state - for 10 years. I am happy to see a woman entering the race.

More good candidates to come.
