South Carolina Joins LGBT License Plate Party


Following in the footsteps of Maryland and, recently, Indiana, South Carolina will offer pro–LGBT equality license plates.

South Carolina's subtle plates cost $25, with half of that money going to the South Carolina Equality Foundation. Parties in Columbia and Charleston take place Friday and Saturday to honor the new plates.

15. I heard about that here in Indiana

rather surprised to say the least given how most of the state is pretty regressive (and we have an upcoming second vote on anti-gay marriage amendment during this legislative session).

I may have to spare a few bucks to spring for this!
