I don't understand the continuing need for the news to ask trump supporters about world/govt affairs

It's obvious you can't get an intelligent answer from really dumb people.

I'm not even being facetious. The interviewers are pretty sure they already know what they're going to get.

I know it's not straight news, but The Daily Show has been mining that particular vein for years.
