The Trump Defense?

So does his ongoing defiance of the terms of his bail mean that ordinary citizen defendants can use this precedent in their own defense when they engage in similar conduct?

I am wondering whether Marianne Williamson or RFK Jr., as goofy as they are, would get away with the same misbehavior. Could they also argue that the free speech rights of a presidential candidate entitle them to threaten judges and their families? Any dingbat can file some paperwork and claim they're running for president (and many have) - is that a literal get out of jail free card?

of judge, prosecutors, etc., would even be heard. But, yeah, they would cut us off if we went on unhinged rants against officials.
