We'll keep working on a deal to bring the hostages back and end Hamas power in the region. If Iran like it or not, go ahead and respond if you think you want to see what our response will be.

I was speaking in terms of a military response, of which there should absolutely be NONE on on the part of the U.S.
Israel is perfectly capable of defending themselves.

I'm sure President Biden was thinking in terms of sanctions or whatever, but NOT any U.S. military response
(unless we ourselves are attacked--- that would change the whole conversation, but Iran is probably not stupid enough to do that)
