Whatever happened to ALEC?

No, I don't mean that fat idiot, Alec Jones. I mean the American Legislative Exchange Council that was a HUGE target for people like Rachel Maddow, Ed Schultz, et al back in the Obama years. You never hear about them any more, but I'm sure they're just as dangerous as ever, if they still exist. Or did they get absorbed into some other body like the Heritage Foundation, or morph into something else?

I believe their activity level is higher than ever. It is just that all spotlights are focused on Trump, so snakes like ALEC can do their shit ( and I do mean shit) in the dark.

I believe they have also infiltrated county and municipal governments.

So, yeah, they still exist and are worse than ever.
