that squirt by setting the record straight that Joe Biden never had a gigantic ego, especially compared to other politicians.

(2,315 posts)And confidence. Joe has that, not a selfish ego. He's proven that time and time again.

(55,334 posts)I think Chris was off if he called it "titanic", but considering that Biden pulled America's fat out of the fire, I think he deserves some healthy mirror gazing time.

(41,842 posts)Chris hayes is not a thinker. He comports himself like someone still in college. Thats the vibe I get and I find it obnoxious.

(309,702 posts)can read the thread.. I wouldn't mind adding my 2 cents.
It's not the first time he's been nailed on Twitter and it had to do with Tara Reid Lying on his show without rebuttal.
And when he was called out he blamed his attackers.. he can do no wrong, don'tcha know.

(27,774 posts)Except I think he was projecting about politicians he idolizes and imagines they do not have massive egos but Biden does. LOL. Maybe he doesn't know what the word means, or who Biden is.
Cha
(309,702 posts)"nailing him on Twitter" mentioned that "he doesn't really know Pres Biden".. just running off at the mouth. Those are my words.
He never thought much of Biden .. remember his Tara Reid Episode? No rebuttals.. just Reid's Lies And when he got called on it .. he Attacked the Viewers.. EGO!
Botom line... Hayes stepped in it Big Time. Didn't take the Temp of the Room.

(309,702 posts)No h'e's not a "journalist"...he promotes his agenda, imo from what I've heard and read about him.

(3,938 posts)I was tired from my work shift and needed to turn in.
Yes, that is the same Megyn Kelly. I do not know which network she was working for when she interviewed Reid. I watched the interview. It was a bit explicit. Kelly, with a cold demeanor, discredited Reid's account.
As an aside, prior to Reid being discredited, Joe Biden was interviewed, via video, by a journalist who is mostly favored on DU. The journalist kept pressing why he would not allow third parties (seeking information on his background with Reid) to access his Senate records stored at the University of Delaware. In my opinion, granting such access would have placed the records in a state of upheaval and taint which would have defeated the purpose to preserve them for future scholarly research.

(2,870 posts)after his mouth outran his brain. He talks so damn fast sometimes I'm not sure he knows what he's saying. He'll go a month covering stories we complain the media doesn't cover then he'll have a week of seizure brain farts. Think he runs out of ADHD meds occasionally lol. As a fellow severe ADHD (you can't tell me he isn't) sufferer who still has an occasional uncontrolled speedy pie hole in my 60's I'm somewhat sympathetic. But he needs to put the brakes on lately for sure.

(104 posts)Chris Hayes has given Bernie Sanders an excessive amount of air time and adoration, promoting him and fawning over him. There is no one in the Democratic Party who has a bigger ego than Bernie Sanders! The NERVE of him to criticize Joe Biden -- especially in Joe's moment of bowing out and handing over the torch, like a true statesman. (And if Joe is too old, what does that make Bernie?!)

The 50th ego in the Senate is probably fairly titanic even if it arguably less than that of a prime time tevee talking head.
