Jesus, we were so close to losing our democracy that day, and while Pence is an asshole, I'll give him credit for not bowing to Been A Dick Donald's threats that day and did the right thing.

One thought/question on your highlighted post. You said the SS was carrying the nuclear football. I never knew that the VP had that at his side at all times. That makes sense, but I never knew that part.

So here are my thoughts, the SS was most likely carrying out the big guys orders to assassinate the VP. Terrifying thought, What is also terrifying to me is that they carry the nuclear FB and yes I know there are secret passwords, voice/hand prints involved but it scares me that they carry/protect it. (See Stephen King book: The Dead Zone)

Do we trust them? Biden's dogs sure didn't.

Right Pence refusing to get into the car with the SS had a big back story.

Pence must have seen firsthand what Trump was capable of because he was part of the WH scene for four
years with Trump.

Trump's callous disregard for life, Trump willing to do anything to win, and to seek revenge on those
who crossed him.

Pence must have heard people talk about the plans for J6 or gotten wind of it.
He then saw video handed to him by his daughter on her phone that day of the crowds shouting to kill him.
Maybe he saw pictures of the noose.
Trump's praise of these people.

He must have know some of the SS would do anything for Trump and were corrupt.
